Undergraduated in Medicine from the Centro de Ciências da Saúde (Health Sciences Center) of the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte - UFRN (1995) and Doctorate in Medicine, in the area of Ophthalmology, from the Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Director of Oftalmoclínica Natal Day Hospital, in Natal, and Assistant Physician of Eye Clinic Day Hospital, in São Paulo.
Professor of Ophthalmology, with Exclusive Dedication DNS IV, of the Medicine Course at Universidade Potiguar. He wrote several articles published in national journals and is the author of several book chapters. He actively participates in national and international congresses, giving lectures and acting in the coordination of several courses and symposia.
Associate member of several Ophthalmology Societies - national and international. Current elected titular member, of the Council of Guidelines and Management of the Brazilian Council of Ophthalmology. Coordinator of the League of Ophthalmology at Universidade Potiguar.
